I can't find anything!
Try to enter as less as possible in the query box. "los angeles" will find records containing "Los Angeles, CA" and even "Los Angeles/CA" while a search for "california" will not show you any of those records. Locations in the US are usually described in the scheme "City, State/USA" (e.g. Seattle, WA/USA). That means, you will not find anything from Seattle when you search for "seattle wa" or "seattle washington".
Frequencies are stored in MHz in the database. So 5541 kHz is 5.541 MHz, just enter 5.541. Hint: If you enter 5.54 in the query box, 5.540, 5.541 and 5.547 MHz records will be shown.
How do you determine my location when searching nearby frequencies?
We're using the W3C Geolocation API which is not yet supported by some browsers. Your feedback is welcome!
How does the geo search work?
The center position has to be entered in decimal format without a trailing degree sign. Southern latitude and western longitude is negative. Enter the range around this center position in kilometers. Output is limited to 200 results. Example: 20km radius around Lexington, KY
What is the meaning of the different colors?
Records marked in red are not yet confirmed and yellow records were used in the past. Those frequencies are kept in the database for a very simple reason: In some cases those frequencies were reactivated after a long period of time. The gray records are the "normal" ones. Those database records are AFAIK confirmed/active. Green colored records were confirmed within the past 12 months.
And what are these icons in the details column all about?
